Create Clarity Before You Create Content
Content Strategy
Strong content begins with structure. Content Strategy defines your brand message, tone, and long-term direction, giving you a clear framework for everything from blogs and SEO to campaigns and assets.
A Framework for smarter decisions
Build a Clear consistent direction for your brand
Producing content without a defined strategy often leads to inconsistency, missed opportunities, and wasted resources. Content Strategy gives you the clarity and structure to create content that connects, performs, and aligns with your broader marketing goals.
Through detailed audience insight, topic planning, and tone development, I help you establish the foundations that guide every piece of communication.
From identifying what to say and where to say it to building the systems that keep your message consistent, this process creates lasting clarity and momentum for your brand.

The Full process
My Approach To Content Strategy
Brand Comprehension
We start by understanding your brand, audience, and objectives. This foundation ensures your content strategy aligns perfectly with your business goals. It also helps create a solidified message and tone that we can carry into created content.
Research & Analysis
I then review your known competitors, market trends, and audience behaviours to uncover content opportunities and define your unique positioning. This can also include analysis of your current content, positioning, and general content structure.
Strategy Development
With this information, I'll develop your content framework, which includes content pillar ideas, topics, tone of voice, and suggested distribution channel and focus. This helps create a clear roadmap for future content, but also allows clear analysis-driven direction for the channels you already have in place.
Delivery & Next Steps
The strategy will be documented and provided, along with actionable next steps and optional ongoing support to guide implementation and refinement over time.

What My Clients Say About Working With Me

Your questions answered
Content Strategy Questions
How Is This Different From Your Other Content Services?
Content Strategy focuses on the planning and direction, not production.
It’s an invaluable process that helps you understand what content to create and why. Additionally, it helps highlight your tone of voice and content style moving forward.
My other services handle the execution of these parts.
Who Is This Service Best Suited For?
Established brands, marketing teams, or business owners who create content regularly but lack a clear long-term plan.
What Does a Content Strategy Include?
Each strategy covers audience research, content pillars, topic mapping, tone of voice solidification, channel planning, and clear next steps for implementation.
I am to make this service as actionable as possible.
Do You Provide Keyword Research as Part of This Service?
Yes, but not to the same extent as one would expect from an SEO service.
Keyword research and trend analysis are conducted to ensure your strategy aligns with SEO and audience intent.
It’ll help you select content to create, and help guide keyword density across material, but it won’t facilitate ongoing research like my SEO packages would.
Can You Help Implement the Strategy Afterward?
Absolutely. My other services, such as Blog Management, SEO, or Content Development help cover the implementation of this strategy.
A benefit of working with me on both is that I’ll have a solid starting point from which to implement, which will often off-set the first month of any regular package.
Essentially, this means we can immediately start creating and implementing.
Can You Audit Our Existing Content Before Building the Strategy?
I’ll complete a full content audit as part of this process to evaluate what’s already performing and what can be improved.
This will require granting me access to currently implemented analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and any others you use, such as SEMRush, etc.
Is This Useful for Start-Ups or Small Brands?
Absolutely. I would even argue that implementing a content strategy for a new or smaller business is one of the best ways to ensure your content focuses on the correct elements.
Start-ups and smaller teams often have fewer available resources, so content strategy is a great investment to ensure those resources are spent on content that creates impact.
Do You Create Brand Guidelines as Part of This?
The creation of a brand guidelines document is not included within Content Strategy, although a lot of what I include could be used to form that document.
If this is needed, we can include this as part of Content Development, and I can implement/create it as part of the full process.
